Windshield

It hit me in the face
and crack-cracked the windshield,
Circles and splinters shat-shattered out of heart,
out of mind, no more sight, I’m blind.
no stopping the pop-popping screech of brakes,
headlights grow dim through the growing thin smile,
I cheese for the hell of it.
The hollow ding-ding of my metal throat,
In a circle,
I’m sealed,
like a shat-shattered windshield.
